As an experienced graphic designer and a graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design, I am confident to take on projects with branding, advertising, collateral, web design and a wide variety of other projects. I want to continue to expand my learning and grow as a designer.

I have established a reputation as a highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented person with a can-do attitude. Multi-tasking comes naturally and having the ability to accomplish what is needed within fast-paced environments to meet deadlines. In addition to course work in design, I have had intensive training in all of the Adobe CS4 programs, including intensive photo retouching. I look forward to problem-solving each new challenge, while thinking of the big picture but also keeping the details in mind.

Please feel free to contact me with any comments, questions, or interest in hiring me.

"Amy was an integral part of the creative execution for all things Holiday. She worked countless hours ensuring the design met customer and business expectations. Through her planning efforts, and organization we were able to quickly react to update the homepage and rest of lowes.com. She took initiative to get all the designers that were on-call prepared for the weekend; providing templates and locations of assets. She made Holiday fun by decorating the POD and getting several Lowes.commies to create hand turkeys. Her teamwork, attitude and dedication makes her unstoppable."

"Amy is a highly creative individual with a natural ability for creating unique and captivating designs. From simple logo design to eye-popping web and print projects, Amy puts her heart into everything she does; and it shows. Prior to her arrival we outsourced all of our creative design work to well-known vendors. During her time with our company she exceeded expectations on a daily basis and left everyone, including our vendors, saying "wow". There was never a project she did not complete or a challenge she was afraid to face. To simply say that she is a creative designer is indeed an understatement. Amy is wonderful person with a great work ethic and would make a phenomenal addition to any team."

John Turner, Director of Information Technology, Waterfront Communities, March, 2009

"While I only had the pleasure of working with Amy for a short time period I found her to be truely a pleasure around the office. Her creative talents impressed me many times with her print and digital advertising projects. She is a valuable assest to any company and has a strong work ethic."

Wade Adler, Director of Marketing at Waterfront Communities, February, 2009

"I had the pleasure of working with Amy for almost two years. She was very instrumental in producing a new image for the College of Computing and Informatics at UNC Charlotte. This included everything from designing brochures for our different departments, a quarterly newsletter, and marketing material for all of the events hosted by the College. She certainly helped take our image to the next level."

Clark Curtis, Marketing Manager at UNCC College of Computing, September, 2008

"The first award goes to one of the most persistent, hard working students we have seen in several years. Her over all excellent performance is particularly noteworthy because we remember her as one always open to criticism - yet never satisfied to only do what is 'expected' - but to go beyond. She listens carefully (usually with a smile- or even a laugh). Internalizes comments, addresses whatever weakness there might be - and finds a determined 'way of her own' to explore the challenge - and to ultimately solve the problem in a smart and effective way. So in recognition of her fine creative work and leadership in the graphic design concentration - and her current successful move to the professional field here on campus - We honor Amy Henty for a job well done. Congratulations."

Eldred Hudson, UNCC Graphic Design Professor, April 2008
