Shortly after graduation I was feeling the lack of projects to work on and really needed a creative exercise. I have lived with horses all of my life and never thought of photographing them. I am normally scared of the huge beasts, but somehow I got lost in photographing them and my fears faded away. It was just what I needed.
From projects before, I experimented in different objects to photograph and different styles. I wanted to pursue photographing food up close, and I wanted to make it interesting. I decided to make combinations with food that were disgusting yet eye pleasing. I made a 8" x 10" book printed on photo paper with napkins separating the pages to further promote the theme.
