With very limited budget and having to put a hundred invitations and programs together by-hand, I was able to come up with a creative solution. I had to figure out how to visualize cybercrime, the main topic of the conference. I created a mini police crime folder with Staples' ivory cover stock, and plain copy paper for the mini pieces of paper inside. I stapled the "News Media Release" over the longer sheet of conference speaker bios in the invitation, and the same for the program's schedule and speaker bios. In the invitation I left the hand-drawn map (with directions on the backside) loose so you could take it with you.
I chose the fonts Handwritten-Dakota and American Typewriter to make it look like an authentic police letter, I even added a case number from the date. The "Victims" are IP addresses to relate it to cybercrime.

My purpose is to improve, advertise, and gain more funding for the greenways to build a better the community. Photographing the greenway inspired my color palette for my signage system, ad campaign, and web design. The greenways can mean different things to different people. "Enjoy your workout" is targeted towards those who are concerned about exercising, "Rejuvenate your body, mind & spirit" is about relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle, and "Explore your extended backyard" is about getting out of their 1/4 acre lot. The walker, jogger, tourist, nature lover, explorer, or socialite will delight in these paths that connect us all.

My idea spawned from asking myself what the most important thing is about joining AIGA. It is getting out and meeting other designers, that way you do corner yourself into a hole. No one wants to be called a hermit that stays inside all the time and does not interact with others. I used strong negative space and hierarchy to better enforce the idea of the hermit being alone. On the backside holds the more detailed reasons to join AIGA. The layout mimics the front, along with the color reminding you of sand and where a hermit crab lives.

Instead of people glancing over a black and white brochure, I wanted to make sure people to noticed these horses that badly needed new homes. I thought a poster would be better fitted for the job. I also wanted to give life to the design and a story of each horse to give personality.
